Intelligent Octopus Go
Charge your car when it’s cheapest and get six hours of cheap home electricity at night.
Octopus will automatically schedule your charge for when energy is cheapest and greenest. You’ll only pay 7p/kWh, no matter the time of day for your car and between 11:30pm and 5:30am for your whole home.
This tariff is compatible with more than 280 cars from top EV brands and selected chargers.
Octopus Go
The Octopus Go tariff works with any EV or charger and offers cheap electricity within a five-hour window.
Charge your car or power your home between 12:30am and 5:30am every night for just 8.5p/kWh. This amounts to fuel costs of around 3p per mile!
SOLAR AND BATTERY TARIFFS
Octopus Flux
Power your home on 100% renewable energy on this electricity tariff, designed exclusively for solar panel and battery owners.
This tariff gives you the best rates for consuming and selling your energy during peak periods.
Get super cheap power between 2am and 5am every day, when you can top up your battery with any extra energy you may need, and a peak rate between 4pm and 7pm – the optimum time to discharge your battery and export any energy you don’t use back to the grid.
You need solar panels, a battery and a smart meter to be eligible for this tariff, but Octopus can start the switch if you are in the process of getting them installed.
SOLAR AND BATTERY TARIFFS
Intelligent Octopus Flux
With Octopus Flux, you’ll need to manually schedule your battery to charge and discharge. But if you want Octopus Energy to do this for you, you can switch to Intelligent Octopus Flux.
This tariff will ensure your battery is charged when the grid is the greenest, to save you money. Excess energy you don’t need is then exported back to the grid when you’ll make the best return, so you’ll always get the best deal.
You could even make up to £300 of profit per year!
SOLAR AND BATTERY TARIFFS
Outgoing Octopus
Get paid for your solar energy. Export energy you don’t use to the grid for either a flat rate or agile market prices.
Octopus Energy will pay you a flat rate of 15p per kWh or match your half-hourly prices with uncapped rates.
The agile rate is best for those that are on the ball with monitoring when you can import and export your energy. Sell your electricity when prices are highest and use energy when prices are lowest.
